On September 29, the remastered versions of Sam & Max Save the World and Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space arrived on the PlayStation Store. This means Sam & Max's first two seasons of episodic games — eleven episodes total! — are now available for Windows, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, AND PlayStation.
You can buy the games for $19.99 each, or save 25% by buying a two-game bundle for $29.99 (or equivalent in your local currency). Will you help us spread the word?
Every day between Sept. 29 and Oct. 5, we'll draw one winner to receive a key for one of the games (winner's choice), for Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, or PlayStation (also winner's choice). On Thursday, Oct. 6, we'll draw the grand prize winner for a Sam & Max Save the World collector's edition (PC version) from Limited Run Games.
Keep an eye on the @skunkape Twitter account, too — we'll tweet out a secret code every day to give you more chances to win.
You haven't heard of Sam & Max, the Freelance Police? They're a dog and rabbity-thing crime-fighting duo, created by Steve Purcell, who have appeared in a bunch of comics, video games, and even an animated TV series over the last 35 years.
Between 2006 and 2010, Telltale Games (the studio that went on to make hits like The Walking Dead) created three seasons of episodic Sam & Max adventures that are still loads of fun to play, but have grown janky and hard to run with the passage of time.
A small team of the original developers has secured the rights to Telltale's Sam & Max games, and we're remastering them to look and play great on today's hardware. The first two, Sam & Max Save the World (aka Season One) and Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space (aka Season Two) are available now. Learn more on the FAQ.
